Recorded live at one of Paris’ most famous Jazz venues, the New Morning Club – duet collaboration with long time friend and music partner, wind instrumentalist, Didier Malherbe who formed the band Gong with David Allen. Pierre and Didier at their inimitable best, very special!

Duet collaboration with long time friend and music partner, wind instrumentalist, Didier Malherbe who formed the band « Gong » with David Allen, Live in Paris was recorded at one of Paris’ most famous Jazz venues, the New Morning Club. Both unclassifiable players, they exhibit multi-cultural influences which have been moulded into recognisably individual styles. Their performance displays an affinity for a wide varierty of folk music, from the east and the west, much of it coloured by the earthy power of jazz. Musical soulmates, their playing devotails technically and emotionally in a concert that, with four encores, exceeded three hours. Pierre and Didier at their inimitable best.
